Yohji Yamamoto
Yohji Yamamamoto's Fall-Winter 2018-2019 show is a double tribute. The first to Pablo Picasso, "Mr Cubism", influenced by the painter's eponymous period ; the second to the creator Azzedine Alaïa, who died on November 18, 2017, in a series of silhouettes entitled "My dear Azzedine".
The multiple points of view and the stylization of the intertwined ridge shapes specific to analytical cubism (1910-1912) are found in this coat, whose angles are revealed to us, particularly on the wide sleeves and hips.
