Jean Pagès
After initially studying architecture, Jean Pagès (1903–1976) turned to advertising posters and fashion illustration for Condé Nast publications including Le Jardin des Modes and Vogue. After starting with Vogue in France, he moved to New York and worked on the US edition.
In this 1925 study for Vogue, an elegant Parisienne is set against a Cubist evocation of Place Vendôme.
