Sybilla Sorondo-Myelzwynska created her label at the height of the Movida in Madrid in 1983, opting for a combination of fluid design, apparent simplicity of silhouette and skilful cutting. She shares with Cristóbal Balenciaga the scrupulous choice of fabrics that ensures the structural precision of her pieces. Recognition on the international scene was not slow in coming.
This coat is one of her most photographed creations, illustrating both the early 1990s trend towards the architectural and the originality of an approach that made the decorative motif the basis for the construction of the garment.
